Intros and Conclusions

Write two different introductory paragraphs for the essay that you just outlined, each one featuring a different method (Definition, Quotation, Personal Narrative, Question, Staccato, Hypothetical Scenario, Historical Background).  When you are finished with your introductions, select two different types of conclusions and draft paragraphs for them as well. Publish your work online when you are done.
Paragraphs should be 4-6 sentence long. Feel free to use the internet for research. For additional examples, please see chapter 1 in your textbook.

  2. Children sometimes have the ability to get of hand. This causes the need for most to use disciplinary actions. Sometimes this is by the means of physical or mental force. This can lead to either great effects or of course negative ones. This all depends on the child and of course the discipliner.

  3. What if there was a world of children running amuck. What would you do to end all the chaos? Some would believe that disciplinary force would be necessary. Would you try and use brute force and beat the evil out of them or would you use your wit and outsmart the sins? Based on your choice, you could easily affect the outcome of the child’s future.

  4. As you can see there is many ways of disciplining children. There are many strong points in using physical force. There are also many strong points in mental discipline. Both of them are very strong options in form of force. The effects in the end are probably different but more than likely your point will get across.

  5. In my opinion both physical and mental force is very useful in form of discipline. I think that sometimes children should at first be disciplined with mental force and be told something to think about before performing their negative actions. Then if that doesn’t work than you may use physical force in order to enforce the law so to speak. This in my opinion will most definitely get your point across and show the child whose boss.

    Introduction 1
How can someone become successful in life? In many scenarios people attend grammar school, and later attend high school, and later on go to college to further their education. After these steps anyone can pursue their career since a degree has been established already. These are necessary steps to make, but we are missing the minor steps that most people forget about. Disciplinary is the key to a better future. The answer is clear: Children need to be disciplined both physically and emotionally in order to reach some form of success.

    Introduction 2
Immanuel Kant once said, “Man must be disciplined, for he is by nature raw and wild.” With this being said many of us have never been disciplined, and have a difficulty to behave correctly. Adults who have never been disciplined face challenges in their lifestyles. I believe discipline needs to taught as a child in a physical and emotional way in order to behave correctly in the future.

    Introduction 1

What ways would you go to discipline your child? There are many ways to discipline your child but each lesson is taken step by step. Talking to your child can be very affective at times. Then there is physical contact as well when you discipline your child which makes it easier but can have some negative effects to a child’s life. Yet there are so many different ultimatums in handling your child like hitting, talking, taking away some privileges, or being grounded.

    Introduction 2

Every time I think about my past and how my parents have disciplined my brother and I. So than I start to think about my own children and think how I should discipline if I should discipline as my parents disciplined me. There are many ways for parents to discipline your child at a different age and some may use the same method over and over again like some parents might think hitting your child is a good way to discipline but yet it can mental mess up your child in a way. Like for example your child could be isolated from other people yet sometimes it depends on the child because some might use that pain to reflect and not be as their parents and discipline your child in a more effective way.

There is a lot of ways to teach a kid to behave good on the house or public.
When I was a little kid my parents used with me a lot of ways to teach me
What to do or what is wrong to do .

  9. Ways To Discipline Children

    Introductory paragraph

Many people in today’s world have children. The population is increasing dramatically and beautifully. However, the ways to discipline kids when they are misbehaving is very important. The way they act as kids will determine who they will become in the future. Everyone is different, so it’s up to the parent or guardian to know how to deal with this matter.
    Conclusion paragraph
In conclusion, these are all my valuable ways on how to discipline your own kids. Proper ways to punish your kids when they have done something horribly wrong will lead to good kids. In the future it will have a great impact on their lives because they were raised like human beings and not savages. It’s not right to let your kids do what they want so actions should be taken immediately. All bad children should be stopped and handled with discipline for eternity.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Introductory 1

"It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men" quoted Frederick Douglass. Which I strongly believeit makes perfect sense to me. When children begin to misbehave, parents should take control immediately and discipline their child. Reason being if a child is never disciplined then they grow up as a rebel and end up in a negative path. Children need to be disciplined not in an aggressive way but the best way is to talk to them. Believe it or not, children learn from their mistakes by talking instead of getting yelled at. Many don't take disciplining so serious but what they don't know is that it will determine who they will become.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Introductory 2

Don't touch that, learn how to share, listen, be obedient are simple phrases that can help a child be disciplined. It looks simple but when you have to act suddenly it doesn't look so simple. Children tend to need a lot of patience from grown ups. When children are disciplined it should be in a wise and dilligent way. Screaming or yelling is not the answer. Children require discipline in order for them to become someone with positive effects in life and avoid a negative path.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Conclusion 1

Children in my opinion need to be disciplined when they are young this way they won't grow up as a rebel. There's been many cases where a teenager was never disciplined when they were a child and they grew up being violent. We have to take matter into our hands, and do what is right. We as parents and guardians know what is right for our children and should discipline them with wisdom and patience. If not, when they are taking a wrong path who is to blame?

    Conclusion 2

“Discipline is a symbol of caring to a child. Discipline is guidance. If there is love, there is no such thing as being too tough with a child” quotes Bette Davis. It is very true when you love your child you want to teach them what's right from wrong. If you never discipline them, that's a way of you not caring about what will be of them in their future. People can keep in mind that you don't have to discipline your child with anger but with love which will lasts longer.

  13. Introduction 1:
Many parents think that physical abuse is the only way to discipline their child. However, I believe there’s other ways that you can. We all know that kids love playing with their toys. Furthermore, as a punishment taking away their toys can be an option instead of physically abusing them. Putting them in time out could help out as well. By putting them in time out or taking away their toys will show them their behavior was wrong. They need to know that for every action, there’s a consequence from the beginning.

    Introduction 2:
Communication is the key to everything. To discipline your child you have to talk and explain to them what’s wrong or right. Instead of just screaming at them you can sit them down and explain why it was wrong and etc. As a different option you can bend down and get down to their level and talk to them. That helps you grab the child and helps them understand better why it was wrong. Screaming at them is just going to cause them to get used to that and ignoring you after a while and not listen to you.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Conclusion 1:

Punishments could help out a lot to discipline your child. Every different type of punishment should be teaching them a lesson. Once that punishment is done they know not to do it again next time as of not crossing the street by themselves. They will grab your hand when they need to cross the street. By taking these actions it makes it easier for you to discipline your child and not having to physically abusing them.

    Conclusion 2

It’s important to be able to talk to your child and get your point across. It’s good to talk to them from an early age to discipline them because they wouldn’t be doing whatever they want. If not then they’ll never listen to you and just keep doing what they want. In other words these kids don’t know what right and what’s wrong they just do things without knowing so therefore we need to teach them from an early age why they shouldn’t do certain things. As well as physical abuse will just make the child more aggressive as they get older so that’s why I think communication is the key!

    ReplyDelete
  15. Conclusion 1
All parents should take an interest in their children’s lives at a young age. Parents should be able to talk to their children about anything with trust and confidence. I believe that both parent and child should be able to understand each other and talk to each other in a calm setting without fighting or hitting. In the end both sides end up hurt but more your own child. That’s why a parent should discipline their child in a way that both could understand each other and talk and be happy.

    Conclusion 2

Why should physical discipline be the solution to disciplining a child? Discipline is teaching a child to know what is right from wrong not to fear your own parent or have hate towards them. Some may come out ok with all the hitting because it’s part of their customs but they might think why they couldn’t have disciplined me in a different way.

    Introduction 1:
Delivering a child to this world is one of the most beautiful things a person can do. To take care of a child and to be a parent isn’t an easy job in the road of the child’s growth. Most people think that spanking a child or physically abusing a child is always the way to control their behavior. The thing is that depending on the child’s experience in his or her childhood will impact them for a lifetime. This is why I am fully against physically abusing a child for his or her behavior.
    Introduction 2:
“ Loving discipline encourages a child to respect other people and live as a responsible, constructive citizen,” as Dr. James Dobson quoted. Disciplining a child and taking care of him or her is like constructing a building you must put time and effort into the construction, also your care into it. Some people tend to think that tough love or yelling at a child will always solve the problems but sometimes it gets worse and people tend to lose their temper and swing at whatever is in the way. Most kids these days have a problem with behaving because they are taught to keep misbehaving until they are yelled at or hit. Some parents don’t even know that they are causing their child much pain at that right moment and most likely for the future.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Intro 1
Child Education has been around for as long as I can recall all of us were raised as the cultural background and customs right. Yes, I know we were at some point kids and misbehave and still to this day still do in a more dangerous or more quiet way that you think as being and adult won't get in trouble. Yet I tell you I have seen many kids and all behave the same and theirs no need for violence in some cases some may say never but never is to extreme cause it's seen as a way of torture but I say no it's rather a way to show disclipinie that they need to learn whats right and whats wrong.Theirs way's to talk to their child well according to their age of course but for must children when you speak to them they seem to foul around with you and take you as a joke or just tone of somewhere else. Yet I don't say hitting is right not in public cause it will cause a humiliation upon peers and a trauma but make them understand what was wrong.

    Intro 2
"Here's a doubt without an answer what do you think kids say when they grow up and see that they were lied as a child and never was said anything and know they can turn up in jail? What would you say to that you could stop you're child from being a bully or a robber I am not saying it's a fact but think of the probability of that child being yours and being able to stop and react and think. "Don't you want whats best for you loved one then do what's right not what you think is wrong and think its going to affect your child your just helping your child to react and expect the unexpected of life. I am not saying to treat your child bad but to start as soon as they are going to be born start talking to them and tell them what to do and not to do. They need to know the risk and consequences of their actions later on. Don't be to cruel at the same time you see them going to do something bad tell them to think first then act and don't hit at first but talk to them in a way they will understand and know the next time. be smart and don't think that violence is the end and torture for your child but think later on its a way to make your life easier.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Conclusions 1
To considers a child a problem doesn't necessary be when he/she rob's or hit but as soon as you see and act of wanting something. Their you can see the act of misbehaving and act of rebel everybody has their ways to treat and educate their child yet the effective way is to act before they act. Taking action first and know when to use the force and words cause it may seem not hitting good but at the end you will pay the price. So don't think wrong and think and act cause I am sure they act before they think your child and you as an adult have to be smart and put into action your ability of being a parent and be responsible. Take action cause in life we get hit in the most secret way that you least expect it we have to see that pros's and con's and know that it hurts but the heal is not to far.

    Conclusion 2
In my way of seeing thing's here if you don't act as the adult and put order in the house or in your life then somebody will in this case you child they will take you up and down the hill unless you let them know that first they need to know how to get up the hill and next to go down. Likewise I am not saying go crazy on your child but when theirs way to fix then theirs hope but talking and using you intelligence on your child may not solve the problem it might even provoke them to do it even more or worst and hitting will make them scare and some may like that some may not but the way to do it is to make an example and explain if they do it then don't expect a gift to be handed to you. It's about taking the risk and not being scare to show the way that you want things to be brave to show your child the road to go on and not let anybody else tell you how to rise your child.

  19. Introduction #2

Everybody has a different way of discipline a child.
depends on the country, culture or just the families background.
everybody has a different ways , some parents talk to their kids,
some of them punish their kids or some parents just hit them.
Theres also the parents that don't do notting for their kids.
They let the kids to what ever they want to do and theres the problem,
they not going to become good people in the future.

    Conclusion # 1

I think the best way to discipline a child is talking and explaining to the kid
what is good or wrong to do.
Teach the child how to behave on public or in the house.
Telling the kid to respect the older and never talk back.
Always have to teach the kids because they are like computers
what you put in their brains is going to stay there for ever.
But if you don't put notting on their mind there not going to know
what is the right thing to do.

    Conclusion # 2

Discipline a child , well theres kids that need the little spice so they can learn.
When they get older and when they were kids the parents didn't discipling the child is going to be hard just only talking. I mean you can star by talking but if the kid doesn't
lising to you theres the big problem. those kids need more than a talk .
Sometimes they get better by only taking away toys or not going out, but
for some kids doesn't help. Those kids need a little spice , but don't get to aggressive
to the kid because that’s just going to make him more angry.
But i still think that the best way to discipling a child is talking

  20. Intro 1

The outcome of a child and what we need to do so they can have a promising future. Correctly disciplining a child will make the difference in a Childs life. The first mistake a child makes whether big or small must be handled with rationality and care for example, time outs, a talk and maybe even the cold shoulder. But if all these attempts fail and there is no sign of a change I strongly believe a physical punishment must be applied.

    Conclusion 1

What will disciplining a child do to their future? Discipline whether its physical or just mental punishment can lead a child to many different roads. Successful? It could be that with the proper attention and discipline a child can be very successful. Whether a doctor or lawyer a child will have the confidence and not fear that was built up at a younger age when they were senselessly beat by their parents

  21. Introduction 1
Having a child, parents have to care and prepare for the responsibilities. It’s not easy, but parents and guardians always find a way for their child to grow the way they want them to be in the future. They except their child to grow responsible without any having any problems. That is way when it comes to discipline, it takes a big roll in their childhood. For some reason, many parents believe that hitting their child when are not behaving, not licensing, or out of control is the solution. However, they do not realize that those solutions can effect their self-esteem in the future. Parents have to be aware that there’s other ways to discipline their child, like talking, patience, and explaining them what they did wrong so that they would never do it again.

    Introduction 2
What’s a child abuser? In here in the United States, is defined as the most cruel person there could ever be. The abuser is usually the parent or guardian of the child who constantly tortures the child in a physical and/or emotional matter. Many abusers were victims of child abuse in their childhood. When discipline a child it has to be done in a compressive matter without abusing the child..

    Conclusion 1
Overall, hitting, yelling, and torturing a child is not the answer when it comes to discipline. Parents may regret in the future how they use to discipline their child when they were young, because they could become like them and hurt their grandchildren. The child may become alcoholic and drug addicted. So parents keep in mind of the harm and damages the child could get when you discipline them.

    Conclusion 2
This country defense children from any abuse the parents and guardians give them. There’s serious punishment to those child abuser, they could get arrested and stay locked up for years. Also, some discipline has to be taken when they are out of control but it has to done in a effected way which no harm has to be done.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Intro 2

The discipline a child receives but how do they respond to it while growing up? A parent will always try to do the best for their child. So when they make mistakes the parents must understand that beating them isn’t the solution. Sometimes just a talk might be the initiative to the solution. Beating a child can have dire consequences, it can hold them back from sports that they may be very good at. Or even clubs that will teach them about a variety of subjects or problems in the world. It will hold them back from things that can lead them to making changes in the world and from things that they love.

    Conclusion 2

A child may not respond to the beating in just being held back from activities but also bad choices. Children who are beat show signs of depression and loneliness from the lack of friends because they cant express themselves to their peers . Children with problems tend to make friends with children of the similar background of beatings and bad parenting. Children with these situations look for relief anywhere they can but sometimes they find it in the worst of places which can be drugs or even gangs. Children must be guided in the right path with the correct disciplinary action.

  23. Introduction 1

A lot of parents believe abusing there kids is the right way to teach there kids discipline. I believe hitting/abusing them is the wrong way. The more abuse they get the worse there attitude gets. As they get older they'll think that violence is the right thing to do. Parents should put them in time out, take there tv away. or video games. This will show that they have done something wrong and won't do it again or there toys will be taken away.

    Introduction 2

Why abuse your kids when talking to them is the right/best way. I rather sit down and explain what they did was wrong. I feel that kids will understand better if you spoke to them rather then yelling or hitting them. I believe after hitting your kids all the time that they'll start to ignore you more or they'll just act worse from all the abuse they had. Communication is everything in life without it well be lost for example if there's no communication in a relationship it won't work out. So if there's no communication with you and your kids then they'll never understand what they have done wrong.

  24. Child Abuse

    Introduction paragraph

Many people in life have problems. Sometimes they can be light problems if not then obviously severe ones. One conflict going on throughout the world today is child abuse. Truth of the matter is that many adults don’t know how to simply deal with children for many reasons. This matter can have a huge impact on a kid’s life now and even in their future.

    Conclusion paragraph

To wrap it all up these are my important reasons why child abuse is wrong and should be put to a stop .The world will be a better place with one less conflict in life. Child abusers should be immediately reported and placed in prison. All kids should be able to live life peacefully and disciplined properly. Everyone deserves a fair chance in life and shouldn’t have to worry about a sick problem like this. Hopefully in the future this will never occur in the world ever again.

  25. Introduction 1
Discipline. An act of taking matters in your own hands to straighten up rebellious kids or teens. But what does it really help if the person who is disciplining, takes it to a limit beyond our reach? This is what our world has be dealing with since forever. I can guarantee that. For some, disciplining is a way to teach their kids from what is wrong and what is right. Yet to others, some can have no heart and abuse the power for their own needs. There is a limit to how you are supposed to deal with them. But leaving them bruises or even to the point of making them bleed is too horrible for our eyes.

    Introduction 2
To be honest, I have never thought before that discipline could be a harmful thing to affect our kids and teens. But then again, it is because of the fact that through my eyes, I have learned that there is a bar above the limit that depicts the word “discipline” as either a learning experience, or to just plain abuse. It’s awful to think about how can these people even think about causing pain and enjoying it. Especially to a little kid, who is just learning the difference between right and wrong.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Conclusion 1 :
Parents these days need to be more careful what actions they take against their child because if the child is abuse or mistreated unfairly the child will grow up to have problems in the future. Children tend to need attention from someone, when they misbehave and they are yelled or hit they will tend to misbehave more just to get more attention. Children need special care in the road they are taking to adulthood but if they are mistreated or abused there lives will be almost impossible to change. The way to discipline a child must perfected and thought out thoroughly because at the end of the day the children are the future of this world.
    Conclusion 2 :
Abuse is a brutal word on itself but child abuse is beyond brutal because what you can do physically and mentally to an adult can impact a child ten times as much. Children when they are born to this world they don’t know what is right from wrong so that is why disciplining a child in a more affective matter is to be acknowledged. I personally have watched my little cousins grow up in an abusive environment that causes them to treat others in the same abusive matter. The love and care of a child’s parents is the most important part of a child’s life hood because it will help the child overcome obstacles he or she may have in the future.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Conclusion 1
Thankfully, there is good nature in ourselves, that makes us different from what we stand and depicts who we really are. Without discipline, people would have no control over themselves. We will run amock, loose, freed from the chains of our masters. Never knowing what is right and what is wrong. Doing whatever our hearts desires. It’s good to say that knowing how you discipline your children can have a better affect towards their future. Knowing the thin line between discipline and abuse can really help out in situations. Kids and teens will remind themselves as to why it happened, or as to how. Thinking about it will either turn to good praise or to an ugly situation.

    Conclusion 2
I experienced things. Who hasn’t? Some good, some bad, some just plain weird and crazy. But to know some people or some kids that actually went to that experience. Well, it’s real sad to know that, especially hearing about what has happened or how they just look the other way and deal with it. It’s pretty frightening to know what actually goes on in their minds. Like what did they actually see or felt with their eyes. Good enough though, they are very well in good care now and I’m glad to see them not dealing with any problems like that. It just goes to show you that discipline can hurt a kid. Physically, emotionally, internally. But it’s what they do with said action and how they can act upon it. To not feel distraught by the world. Discipline is a right way to teach kids, but never to abuse.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Conclusion 1
Just imagine if people lose their values about disciplining children. How would people act in modern day society? The answer can be something we will not be able to handle. People can turn into mad animals who have escaped from the zoo without any demonstration of discipline. It seems silly to think this could happen, but we can prevent this insane behavior from occurring if people discipline their children.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Conclusion 2
Unless children are disciplined then they will understand how to act properly in life. Some of us hope children will be well mannered and generally “good” once they are born. Most of us see this is not the case, and we have to teach the basic discipline fundamentals to children. It can be complicated to discipline children but I think it is worth it in the end. It’s better to have children that know how to act, than spoiled children with insubordination.

  30. Introduction 1:
Every three to four years we take a trip to Dominican Republic. The trip for a family reunion that my family does. All of my mother’s side of the family goes over to my grandmother’s place for this big event. There’s friends, family, and even close neighbors that come over to be part of this event. We try to never miss these events for the fact that we barely get to see or spend time with our family. Since they never had the opportunity to come to the United States of America. Its something we cant never miss!
    Conclusion 1:
The hardest part is to say goodbye to those who you love and miss the most. Those that you never get to spend all of your holidays together every year with. When I have to say goodbye to my family it’s the hardest part. The fact that I don’t get to see them every day makes goodbye hard since I was young I been like that. Especially when I have to say goodbye to my grandmother, because you never know if I will ever get to see her again.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Introduction 2:
Besides the food, there are other events that go on. We, Dominicans like to get together and like to dance in our family reunions/parties. We like to dance to Bachata and Merengue .We are brought up to learn how to dance since we take our few steps. Therefore, there’s never a radio missing in our reunions. As of for the food, we go to the store where they sell chicken, turkey, etc. There they have turkeys alive they kill them and cut them right there in front of you. There’s tons of food like rice, plantain’s, desserts and a lot more!
    Conclusion 2.
Before the night ends, there’s one thing left to do and that is the “BIG PICTURE”. My grandmother always hires a professional photographer every time there’s an event like this. We all gather in the living room and we all take a picture with all of our family. That picture is like a memory for our family especially my grandmother. It’s something we always have to do like a tradition for the family.

There are many kids in this world that are being abused and should put an end to it. Kids are just kids and yes they might get out of control, but doesn’t give parents the right to hit them a leaving them buses in their bodies.
Since the day parents decided to become parents they knew raising , and taking cafe of a kid wasn’t going to be easy. You basically signed a contract on that you are always going to be there for them to protect them in good and bad. Teaching them what’s wrong and right. On having them looking up to you and not being afraid of you as their mom and dad.

Disciplining a child from wrong to right should be taught the right way, but physically abusing them can cause parents or guardian consequences. Misbehaving is a major thing kid’s do and are good at it, but it’s time to set some rules. Parents and guardians should act upon it but without mistreating their kid.
Physically abusing your kids isn’t the right way to teach them. Abusing them could cost you your kids being taken away from you and put in foster homes. There are way to teach your kids should as talking, explain things to them, giving them responsibility, or such as grounding them, but hurting them is a big no no.

    Ways to discipline your child
There are many ways to discipline our children but we also want to be there teachers. We want them to understand why what he or she did was wrong. We don’t just want to punish them no we want teach them advise them. Because the way we discipline our child would have a huge effect on them in the future. So for me I would always talk to them and explain to them so they could learn and never do that mistake again.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Conclusion
By talking and explaining to your child is better than screaming or yelling or hitting them. We want them to be little leaders who know what is right from wrong who would also teach their friends. So the ways we discipline our child is very important because it builds a child’s character or break a child’s character.

  36. Introduction 2
Another healthy way we could discipline our children would be, by taking away some privileges that they have. We could take away their TV time away, play time away and their newest toy they just got. When we punish our kids this way they won’t miss behave or do something wrong so they won’t get what they love away they will try to be on there A game most of the time

  37. Conclusion 2
Children would learn from talking and explaining to them what’s right from wrong. Because child hood is the most important part of the humans life cycle. So we want our children to have a good healthy child hood. We could offer them a good childhood from dispelling them right. And try to understand their point of view when they did something wrong.
